The aim of this project is to design a set of five products and a t shirt from Sportsgirl which aligns with 2026's theme of using Y2k Nostalgic moodboard. The items that are required to be designed is a bath set, a desk note, drink bottle, knock note, three-pack perfume set and a t-shirt design and has to meet the Sportsgirl brand values of bold, confident, positive, inclusive and fun.
Design concepts: I first generated three themes to use for my first Sportsgirl package which is a knock-note and aligning with the Y2k nostalgia moodboard of using bright sparkly, and vibrant colours. The first theme is called dreamy cloud which evolves around clouds, moon, and stars to evoke a dreamy and whimsical look. The second concept is called warm sunset which involve using a warmer colour tone which I plan to put on y2k graphics around it. The last theme is a crystal pattern which creates an elegant and crystal-like effect with vibrant gradient colours that represents y2k theme.
I chose the first theme of dreamy cloud as it best resembles the Y2k moodpboard and I could further improve and create graphics that could be potentially used for my packaging set. I created drafts and thumbnail sketches to create a vision of what my package would look like.
