CHOUKETTE REDESIGN
The aim of this project is to redesign an existing cafe, restaurant or retail from Brunswick. In this case we have chosen to do a project redesign on Choukette a French patisserie cafe in Brunswick. The brand originally had a very dull two coloured logo and is not famous locally and is not a franchise and has very low visibility on its social media page and platforms. The aim of this project is to redesign its logo, brand identity for a wider audience and to enhance its visual appeal and communication.
DESIGN PROCESS


We then created sketches of what the logo could potentially be redesigned to and we chose this cute mascot like aesthetic because we are aiming to target audience of all ages form young people to elderly and would like to have good visual appeal.
We then designed the logo onto adobe illustrator and experimented with different colour palettes as well as composition of the typography.





The first step of the design process was to do some research about Choukette overall as a cafe such as their aesthetic, design, style, brand purpose and the pros and cons of their current design style and the target audience it intends to have.

FINAL DESIGN
