CATALOGUE COVER
The aim of this project is to create an original catalogue cover using 3D objects being put together and coloured in photoshop to create visual elements for a front cover of a catalogue. In this project, i created a catalogue cover using stamp blocks that is being first painted in white gouache paint to create visual objects and then taking photos of them in different compositions and angles to see how effective it can look in a actual catalogue cover. I then coloured them in Photoshop and set it all out into a a catalogue cover style of work by adding text and features.
I initially used some 3D stamp blocks and then I painted them in gouache paint to create an 3D look for my catalogue cover. I also experimented with taking the stamps photos In different angles and dimensions in the photo room to see which camera angle is most effective for my cover.
I then created photoshop edits on my camera shots to experiment with colour composition and colour palettes to see which one best suits my cover.
