MAGAZINE COVER
The overall objective of this design brief is to… create a captivating and visually appealing magazine cover that effectively communicates the theme and audience of the publication. The two main key elements are graphic artwork and Typographic Masthead. The graphic artwork should embody an originally created vector-based artwork as the focal point of the magazine cover and the imagery shown must correspond to the content of the magazine and be visually engaging to the audience. The other key element to creating this magazine cover is Typographic Masthead, which is designing an original typographic logo for the magazine name, and the font must be creative and can be served as brand identity or hand-drawn. This is my final artwork of my magazine cover captivating the rebellious nature of skateboarding targeting audience of ages 13-25 who are interested and fond of skateboarding in original art made through adobe illustrator.
DESIGN PROCESS

This is the first initial sketch of what the typography of the title will looks like as well as key graphic elements that will be put onto the cover. Generally wanted to create a casual graffiti style cover which will align with young people and youths.
Designed three concepts that will relate to skateboarding and could be appealing but decided to use the second one as it showed detail, depth, and graphics that is suitable for a cover.
Brand style guide outlines the colour palette, style, layout, composition, design elements and aesthetic of the work.
